In a post-apocalyptic future, Marvel’s Wastelanders: Star-Lord finds Peter Quill (Timothy Busfield) and Rocket (Chris Elliott) a little paunchier, a little slower, and a lot saltier than they were during the glory days of the Guardians of the Galaxy. They quickly discover the Earth isn’t what it used to be either, when they crash land 30 years after all the world’s super villains seized control.

The former Guardians are accompanied by a Rigellian Recorder, affectionately dubbed “Cora”, who documents their mission to find the Black Vortex–an ancient relic reported to yield cosmic powers–before guillotine collars bestowed upon them by The Collector snap their necks. In the barren, desolate wasteland of the mid-west as controlled by Doctor Doom, they encounter the ageless telepath, Emma Frost, outlaw Ghost Riders, and the bloodthirsty Kraven the Hunter. Who will find the Black Vortex first and what will be the price of its power?

In einer düsteren, postapokalyptischen Zukunft des Marvel-Universums haben die Schurken endlich gewonnen. Helden sind nur noch eine unangenehme Erinnerung. In Marvel’s Wastelanders: Star-Lord sind Peter Quill (Tom Wlaschiha) und Rocket (Devid Striesow) nicht nur älter, ein bisschen rundlicher und etwas langsamer geworden, sondern auch sehr viel zynischer als zu den ruhmreichen Zeiten der Guardians of the Galaxy. Und als sie mit ihrem Raumschiff eine Bruchlandung hinlegen, stellen sie schnell fest, dass auch die Erde nicht mehr ganz die alte ist. 30 Jahre sind vergangen, seit die Superschurken der Welt dort die Macht übernommen haben.

Begleitet werden die ehemaligen Guardians von einem rigellianischen Recorder. Die von Quill liebevoll Cora getaufte Roboterin (Giovanna Winterfeldt) dokumentiert die Suche des Duos nach dem Schwarzen Vortex – einem uralten Artefakt von angeblich kosmischer Macht. Sollten die beiden es nicht rechtzeitig finden, droht ihnen das Aus durch zwei Guillotinen-Halsketten, die ihnen vom mächtigen Collector angelegt wurden. In der trostlosen Einöde des Mittleren Westens, die von Doctor Doom (Sylvester Groth) beherrscht wird, begegnen die beiden der alterslosen Telepathin Emma Frost, den gesetzlosen Ghost Riders und dem blutrünstigen Jäger Kraven.

Marvel’s “Wolverine: The Lost Trail” is an epic quest that takes place in the Louisiana bayou. Following the events of Marvel’s “Wolverine: The Long Night”, Logan (Richard Armitage) returns to New Orleans in search of redemption, only to discover that his ex-lover, Maureen is nowhere to be found. And she’s not the only one. Dozens of humans and mutants have gone missing, including the mother of a teenage boy, Marcus Baptiste.

With Weapon X in close pursuit, Logan and Marcus must team up and follow a trail of clues that leads them deep into the gothic heart of the bayou, where they encounter biker gangs, Cajun thieves and a world of wonders that defies explanation. It is here that they find Greenhaven — a refuge run by a powerful mutant named Jason Wyngarde.

Award-winning comic book author Ben Percy (“The Dark Net”, “Red Moon”), director/sound designer Brendan Baker (“Wolverine: The Long Night”) and associate director/sound designer Chloe Prasinos (“Wolverine: The Long Night”) will return for the series, produced by Daniel Fink and Chloe Wilson of Marvel and Jenny Radelet Mast of Stitcher.
